Middle School
Middle school is where our boys step up to the full 15-a-side game, on a full-size field. We also move to contested scrums and players can be lifted in the lineout to compete for the ball. The game starts to look a lot more like the rugby you see on TV at this age.
Our girls play either 7- or 10-a-side rugby, depending on player numbers.
Our focus is preparing players for High School rugby by challenging them to think about the game tactically and focus on their own skill development, fitness and preparation.
Age groups
Middle School Boys and Middle School Girls, for players in 7th or 8th grade.
Season
December 2026 to March 2027.
Practice
Middle School Boys train Tuesdays and Thursdays at Wilder Field #2. Games at the weekend. Girls train Mondays and Wednesdays, with the full girls program
